I drove off the motorway today specifically to pick up some cakes and pastries to take home (Weiden in der Oberpfalz). I'd even go out of my way for these treats! I actually only wanted to visit the cathedral this summer, but a guardian angel led me past this pastry shop. And it won't be the last time!

Hello, we ordered a themed cake for our daughter's birthday. Chocolate base with blueberry yogurt filling. Decorated with Hello Kitty. We are absolutely thrilled! The decoration looks fantastic, and the flavors are very well-balanced, with the different components, excellent! Absolutely fantastic value for money. Very good advice, and the entire team was very friendly and accommodating! Highly recommended, which I will definitely do! Thank you so much for this amazing cake 🙏🏻

After an alpaca hike in the Aurachtal Valley, the Zuckermeisterei® was practically a "chance discovery" (thanks to Google 😉). And what a find! Delicious cakes, tarts, and coffee drinks are offered here, sure to make any sweet tooth's heart beat faster. We had the Münstertorte (Münster cake), apricot-pistachio tart, a tart with curd mousse and blueberries, served with cappuccino and coffee, and finished with an iced coffee. The cakes aren't as sweet as the name suggests. The small and large works of art are made with great sensitivity. Both the staff and the manager are very friendly and attentive. The café and outdoor area are beautifully decorated, creating a pleasant atmosphere at the Zuckermeisterei®. Highly recommended! 👍😊 We can now extend our praise to other creations: Hohenzollern cake, brownie cake, "Big Cinema" tart (truly deserves its name 😎), and lavender blossom bergamot tart. A magnificent treat!

This past weekend, my girlfriend and I visited the Zuckermeisterei for the first time. They had delicious coffee and two cakes that were not only beautiful to look at but also incredibly tasty. The staff behind the counter and the pastry chef himself were also lovely to behold and very friendly. When the weather is nice, you can sit outside, although the interior is also very modern and cozy with a great view into the bakery. We really enjoyed ourselves and will definitely come back for another cake or chocolate.

Visiting from Ireland and I had the pleasure of stopping in this bakery. Not to be missed! It is top class, with very reasonable prices

I dont know how can someone put a bad review on it. Price wise maybe a bit more than a normal bakery but, as someone use to a luxury quality pastry, these pastries are good and reasonable for the price! I purchased carrot cake, chocolate tart, nougat tart, and the homemade chocolate. I can say they’re almost to the taste of läderach, lindt and godiva. I can taste quality ingredients use for it. Stop by if youre around the town! Trust me it’s worth it! Better thn some pastry shop in France and obviously most delicious cake i had in germany so far 😁

Very tasty cakes in the french patisserie. But, exactly , in a popcorn cake, the bottom chocolate layer is too hard, it’s difficult to chew because of popcorn, it’s superfluous. the recipe needs to be tweaked a bit
